Life of an OnLogistics Apprentice

Apprentice Ben Scully and Chairman Lord Digby Jones

At OnLogistics we’re committed to the future of our vision and growth, a key part of which are our team members who keep us striving forward. Proudly upholding core values and corporate responsibilities is important to us as a business and so we’re dedicated to nurturing talent, an example of this being our commitment to apprenticeship schemes.

Ben Scully, 18, our most recent apprentice joined OnLogistics in early September as part of a Warehouse Management apprenticeship eager to develop, learn and grow within the Logistics Industry. In his role, Ben’s main activity is booking in stock that is delivered to our Elmdon warehouse – ensuring it matches orders, storing stock correctly and booking out stock by using the systems to locate the part from our warehouse and preparing it for delivery. Along with his duties, his main objective is to gain as much from the apprenticeship as possible with regular assessments and coursework set by his college ensuring he’s on track to successfully complete training. Ben, who hopes to establish a career in cyber security within the logistics industry in the future, spoke on his role “I didn’t know a lot about the systems and processes coming in but I’ve learnt a lot and I’m excited at the challenges going forward’.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
